Great stay near Spokane !

This is a lovely campground in the forest near the water. The host is really nice, the spots are spacious and really beautiful. You do need a discover pass to camp here but we just bought a one-day pass which was about 11$. Toilets are clean.

3 day limit

You’re allowed to stay here for three days in a 30 day period. It does require a Washington park pass and there is a camp post that comes around multiple times during the day to check everyone’s and make sure they are not extending their stay past the limit. There are multiple vault toilets which were clean and well stocked and everyone was respectful. There’s a total of 24 campsites spread out across to loops. Sites 19 and 20 are the sunniest for those that need some work. You’re about 15 to 20 minutes from Spokane but it still feels secluded. I had 2 to 3 bars of AT&T service and was able to work for the couple of days. camp hosts were friendly!

It was nice for a moment.

Nice host, clean site...I bought the WA Discover Pass to spend 3 nights here. Had to leave after the first night when some meth heads moved in next to me. Hollering curse words and yelling at me from their site. Unfortunately there are no repercussions for this kind of behavior. I wouldn't stay there again, it isn't always safe.

Beautiful and free

Stayed here with my dog, pet friendly but the animals must be on a leash. Camp hosts are very attentive and make multiple rounds which is nice. Follow all posted rules and you’ll have a blast. Pack in and pack out.

Close to Spokane with a nice creek

There’s nothing spectacular about this campground but it does have a nice creek you can play in and some siteS are right next to it. Campsites are spread out fairly well and there are trees and shrubs that lend to privacy. It’s close to Spokane and makes for an easy quick destination for the region. There are no open wilderness or hiking options connected to this campground but there are in the region.

Top-Notch Local Campground

Busy on weekends, but relatively empty on the recent Thursday night we slipped out. The bathrooms are incredibly clean, the campsites we considered were all clean as well. Even though it straddles the creek, creek access isn’t easy. The creek makes for a decent fall wading pool, but not much more. It has no access to outdoor recreation. However, if you are looking for a spot to set up and relax, this is perfect. Some sites are open while others are shaded, but all are spacious and well removed from neighboring sites. Not all sites can accommodate large tents. There is no trash service, so come prepared to take out all your trash.

Good for rest, not recreation

Bathrooms were immaculate, and the sites are spacious and not right on top of each other. Other then the creek (not available from our site) there's no recreation. If you're looking to just set up and relax, it's wonderful. If you want some activities such as hiking or more, it's not your best bet.

Sma campground, but feels like you are in the wilderness.

Quiet family place. Swimming hole. Water available. Bring own wood. Surrounded by private property, so no hiking. 1/2 hour from Spokane. Free with Discovery Pass. Fills up by Friday afternoon.

SiteNo numbers. Has a camp host.

Clean and quiet atmosphere

You will need a Discover Pass to camp here but other than that there are no extra camping fees.

Each campsite has it's own fire pit and a picknic table. While some sites are more private than others they are all within walking distance to a drop toilet.

The only downside here would have to be the number of wasps throughout the grounds. Wasp traps would be a nice investment but when you're outside you have to be prepared. For things like that.

There's a small creek that runs through the campgrounds. Not great for swimming (very shallow) but luckily there are many swimming spots locally that you can visit instead.

All in all I had a really great time while we were staying on the grounds. The gates close at 10pm so you don't have to worry about people driving in at all hours of the night.
