One of the most common questions we get asked. ‘How did you get the float tanks in?’Answer - like this… Yes they are monster size (8ft 6 x 5ft 6) designed by two giants I always say. They come in 3 parts. The base is the heaviest and the most tricky to manoeuvre - so takes a good few people to move. We have now got two of them positioned - whilst we actually build two rooms around them. Float Spa 2.0 is well under way - looking to set an opening date in the next few days…😍😍😍#womaninbusiness #takingrisk #relocating

Kaizen - Continuous ImprovementOne of our primary motivations for finding a new location was accessibility. After nearly 10 years on Third Avenue, I've felt disheartened by the numerous times I've had to respond to enquiries about disability access with disappointing news. Our previous location had 13 concrete steps at the entrance and lacked indoor facilities for those with limited mobility.I'm thrilled to announce that our new side entrance is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs (please excuse the ongoing construction).Additionally, we are incorporating a disabled toilet, baby changing facilities, and accessible float and therapy room.We can't wait to offer our wonderful treatments to more people.#womaninbusiness #alwaysimproving

Progress…Having realised that I’ve been posting only on instagram. A lot of people have been asking about where we are!!Here’s some recent photos. We’re very much in the middle of this huge project. Those who’ve ever completed a renovation - we’re in the really tough part. When everything is going on - but the light at the end is only a very distant dot!!We have a great contractor but still waiting for building regs (as they’re now super overloaded post grenfell) and southern water to sign off our drainage plans. But We are going as fast as we can. There’s about 6-8 people on site every day at the moment, so a lot is happening. There’s even a therapy room with plaster on it which is rather exciting. We are aiming to be open in September - so do keep everything crossed for us. 🤞#womaninbusiness #businessrefurb

This is a big rarity for me. Working on a Sunday. Slight difference to my usual - I’ll be talking on BBC Radio Sussex at 8:50am for their Sunday reset segment. Obvs discussing how floatation therapy can help reset your nervous system and reduce stress and help setup for a new week. Also hoping to sneak in support for Rockinghorse Children's Charity and the immense work they do. Don’t forget to tune in…

Totally love Brighton Business Show - Mike Monk did a stella job yesterday. The day kicked off with a great talk on Stress in the workplace which was hosted by me. Then to spend the rest of the day talking all about workplace wellbeing, taking regular breaks and floating of course. Great to see so many faces. Way too many to name - but you can drop a 👋 in the comments if you visited our stand. Plus hope you all enjoyed your relaxing bath at the end of a full day. #brightonbusiness #smallbusinessowner

So here it is. I’ve entered the ballot more times than I can think of. London Marathon is iconic and my goodness it lived up to all my expectations. The crowds - wow the best crowds I’ve ever encountered. Cheering you when you are flying and cheering when you are in more pain than you’ve experienced in your life. I can take so much pride from yesterday. But equally beat myself up for sustaining an injury that made those last 5k a total grit and bare it challenge.Publishing my finish time - one lucky person guessed spot on and has been contacted to win their prize. It’s a big memory to keep forever. Yes I do want to do it again. To put right all those things I’ve done wrong. But if I never get the opportunity to do it again. I know I left it all out on the course and did the best I could. A PB is always a PB and I did better than my last marathon 12 years ago. Thank yous:To everyone who has donated - we’ve raised nearly £5k for Rockinghorse Children's Charity To the best cheering squad ever - seeing them at Tower Bridge was a huge boost Lee Pierson To everyone else running it - we most certainly changed the face of London that day. Now let’s recover quick - triathlon season starts in 3 weeks. The Float Spa #londonmarathon #wellness #achieveyourdreams

It’s the night before the London marathon - so perfect flat lay time. This is somewhat of a ritual - laying everything I need in full preparation. Having only ever completed one marathon in 2012 I’m a bit of a novice on marathon prep. So this is possibly a guess. Plans include wanting to carry a race pack with all my own hydration and nutrition to avoid picking up water bottles (have a thing with single use things)Had several wardrobe malfunctions and have tested different shorts. So these new hoka are a wild card choice having only worn them on a 5k run. Loving the Rockinghorse Children's Charity vest will be writing my name on the top to enjoy the cheers. Nerves are in - I can’t eat any food - so trying to force food down tonight. Hoping for a good sleep and early start in the morning. You can still sponsor me - link is here https://lnkd.in/e3rPHW7q. Don’t forget if you pledge and guess my run time you can win £300 worth of treatments from The Float Spa #londonmarathon #marathon #runner #marathonrunner

This Sunday I am taking on London Marathon Events - that’s 26.2miles of running. All to support Rockinghorse Children's Charity I’m not a stereotypical marathon runner. I like the thrill of multi sport but to have the iconic route and crowd in super excited. So here’s the ask….CAN YOU GUESS MY RUN TIME??If you are up for the challenge of guessing what time I will run the marathon in AND make a donation to Rockinghorse Children's Charity - you could win 2 x ultimate wellbeing packages at The Float Spa - worth over £300. Simply head to our JustGiving page here - make a donation, then in the comments guess the time. Link is here https://lnkd.in/eS_ciMzNI will post the finish time on Monday and contact the winner directly. The giveaway is also on our instagram page. Any donation will count - so do consider giving a small or large amount. Rockinghorse Children’s charity have a special place in my heart for all the support many years ago. #marathonrunner #wellbeing #womaninbusiness
