Securable Deviants Interactive Map
The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.
- Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
- Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
- From here, click Mark as Acquired to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected, and add 1 to that pin type's Counter.
- To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to unclaimed.
- To check how many pins you have marked so far, check the Counter in the bottom left, and click the icon that looks like a checklist to see counters for all pin types.
- If the collected pins start to get in the way, you can hide them all by clicking the green Show Pins button on the left side.

Combat Deviants Territory Deviants Crafting Deviants |
Combat Deviants
As per their namesake, Combat Type Deviants can be used to fight alongside you in battle either offensively or defensively to help you take down enemies. They usually focus on dealing damage, healing, or provide buffs.
Territory Deviants
Territory Deviants are commonly used to improve your base. These can range from extra boosts when crafting to automated resource gathering. Some can even help other Deviants regenerate Deviant Power faster!
Crafting Deviants
Crafting Deviants' main purpose is to produce special materials that let you craft exclusive items like Whim Elixirs and Tactical Items which provide various buffs in the overworld.
How to Use Deviants
Place Them in an Isolated Securement Unit
In order to use your aquired Deviant, you need to put them inside an Isolated Securement Unit. This is also where they will stay once they run out of Deviant Power and Mood to recharge so make sure to place these in your Deviant's preferred spots.
Territory and Crafting deviants will start working automatically once they're put in an Isolated Securement Unit.
Sync Combat Deviants to Your Cradle
Combat Deviants work differently as they have to be synced to your Cradle first before you can use them. You can only bring one deviant with you so make sure to choose which one you want to bring wisely.
How to Increase Deviant Mood
Optimize Their Environment
Deviants thrive in specific environments. Some need music while some need special colored lights. In order to maximize a deviant's power, you need to make sure they're in an environment that they like.
To know a deviant's preferences, press F on their Isolated Securement Facility and check their Securement Environment. Make sure to optimize their environment so they'll keep working for you efficiently!
How to Increase Deviant Power
Consume Mood
Deviants are fickle creatures and will stop doing their tasks if they run out of power. Deviant Power can be refilled by consuming their Mood, so if you run out of both you're out of luck until it regenerates back.
Make sure to put their Securement Unit in their preferred environment so you can get their mood and power back up quicker.
What are Deviants?
Collectible Anomalies that Provides Aid
Deviants are securable anomalies found in Once Human that offer benefits once captured, whether through combat, base operations, resource farming, or crafting!
Deviants respawn at specific locations on the map, but players must act fast to capture them, as others might get there first and capture these deviants for themselves!
