Your workplace:

The Senior Lecturer position is responsible in particular for teaching in the field of “Psychological Evaluation and Implementation Research (focus on Gender & Diversity in Education)” in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs at the Faculty of Psychology. In addition, expertise is expected for a possible contribution to teaching in the Master's program in Gender Studies. You will (primarily) be responsible for academic teaching in the psychology degree program for an average of 10 semester hours per week and design lectures and seminars in all educational phases. In addition, the Senior Lecturer may be expected to (co-)supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses. The assumption of administrative activities (especially in the administration of teaching) is part of the task. The ongoing reception of the current state of science and the assumption of research activities are expected. Continuous didactic training, especially in the area of e-learning, is also expected.

Your future tasks:

You actively participate in scientific teaching, research & administration, which means:

• You will independently teach courses in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. Extent of employment: 28.5 hours/week, which include a teaching assignment of 10 hours scientific classes on average per semester.
• You will take on administrative tasks, especially in the administration of teaching.
• The ongoing reception of the current state of science as well as the didactic further training during the lecture-free time are expected.

• Completed PhD studies, in the field of psychology
• Several years of independent teaching at a post-secondary educational institution
• Didactic competences (proof e.g. by teaching evaluations, teaching awards)
• Experience in educational psychology research and teaching with a focus on evaluation and implementation research as well as gender and diversity in the educational context
• Experience in teaching research skills
• Experience in e-learning (audience response systems, webinars, Moodle), and digital & hybrid teaching
• Social competencies
