1 Body Brain Support Review Summary

This is a very respectable focus and memory supplement from a little known manufacturer. If you read our full 1 Body Brain Support review below, you’ll find that this stack utilizes many of the best natural nootropics available today.

It has some issues – the need for cycling is the most obvious. The use of Centrophenoxine instead of a better cholinergic is another. There’s also no anti-oxidants. Aside from these problems, 1 Body Brain support is a solid brain booster!

Where To Buy 1 Body Brain Support

We recommend buying this supplement from the 1 Body online store.

1 Body Brain Support is a very interesting natural nootropic stack. We first came across it on a third party merchant site, but after doing some digging, it turns lout that 1 Body are a pretty serious manufacturing outfit.

They run their own online store, and their range is quite extensive. 1 Body currently sell their own thyroid, liver, and adrenal support stacks among other products.

Their supplements seem popular, so while they aren’t well known now, that might change in the near future.

So what is this supplement supposed to do?

What is its purpose?

According to the official website, 1 Body Brain Support delivers the following key benefits:

  • Increased energy
  • Enhanced focus
  • Memory support
  • Enhanced cognitive function
  • More motivation

This is an impressive arrary of purported benefits.

The addition of motivation support is deifnitely interesting. Not enough stacks focus on this – usually only the best nootropics provide cognitive enhancements and some kind of motivation support.

If productivity is your primary concern, then motivation support is vital!

But any old supplement can make these claims.

We need to find out if 1 Body Brain Support can actually deliver!

Does this nootropic actually work?

Is it safe?

How does it compare to other stacks on the market right now? Does it reach the bar set by our top rated nootropics?

Find out by reading our detailed review of 1 Body Brain Support below! We begin, as always, by assessing the formula. We’ll look at potential side effects, as well as what some other people have been saying about it. If you have any questions, let us know in the comments section at the end.

1 Body Brain Support Formula

Here is the 1 Body Brain Support formula:

First impressions here are good.

Very good.

Everything ingredient ticks a box here.

We can’t see any nasty substances.

There aren’t any synthetic brain drugs to worry about (more common in this market than you think).

There’s no fillers either, since this isn’t a prob blend!

The ingredients are all of a very high quality, and in most cases the doses are absolutely perfect – even too generous.

Of course, 1 Body Brain Support isn’t perfect.

There are a few things we would definitely change if it was our product.

There is also a major flaw which we think holds this nootropic back: the need for cycling.

Let’s discuss this in more detail.

What We Like

As we said, there’s a lot about 1 Body Brain Support that we like.

Let’s start with the superb ingredient selection.

For its primary cholinergic, 1 Body Brain Support uses Alpha-GPC.

Alpha-GPC is one of the best things to take if your goal is to increase focus and mental clarity in the short term.

It confers a large amount of choline to the brain, where it is used to synthesize acetylcholine. This is perhaps the most important neurotransmitter for information processing, learning, and cognitive function more generally.

More acetylcholine means more thinking power.

Just consuming choline is ineffective at increasing choline levels in the brain. Using an analogue like Alpha-GPC is therefore necessary if you want to directly increase acetylcholine availability.

A second great ingredient in 1 Body Brain Support is Lion’s Mane Mushroom.

Few stacks provide Lion’s Mane Mushroom.

We don’t know why this stuff isn’t more prevalent in modern day nootropics. Perhaps it is simply too difficult to procure, or too expensive.

Lion’s Mane Mushroom boosts the production of a neuropeptide called Nerve Growth Factor (NGF). NGF stimulates the growth of various neural tissues – most notably, nerve cell dendrites (the “branches” which shoot off nerve endings and facilitate communication between brain cells).

Sensory neurons have been found to undergo apoptosis (programmed cell death) in the absence of NGF.

As such, promoting NGF production is increasingly thought to be an effective way of slowing the on-set of age-related cognitive decline, or perhaps ameliorating the severity of the symptoms.

With such potentially powerful effects for something not known to cause side effects, we believe that LMM is an absolute necesstiy in a modern, premium-quality nootropic stack.

If a stack today doesn’t contain LMM in a decent dose (or another substance to promote neurotrophic factors), it is missing something.

We could go for some time here, but we’ll just make a quick mention of Tyrosine before moving on.

Tyrosine is incredibly effective at keeping you calm and focused while under acute mental and physical stress.

For example, several studies have found that Tyrosine preserves cognitive function in people who have drastically reduced oxygen intake, are placed in extreme cold, or who are under-going sleep deprivation.

This has obvious carry over benefits for both athletes and students who want to improve their cognitive function.

Athletes who must perform in extreme conditions (cold, high altitude, low oxygen) could find that Tyrosine helps them stay sharp and motivated.

Students who have to pull several all-night cramming sessions during final exams can potentially benefit a great deal from adding Tyrosine into their supplement stack.

The 175mg in 1 Body Brain Support is enough to benefit most people.

On its own, this isn’t enough Tyrosine to have a big impact on your cognition. But on top of other focus boosters and anxiolytics (such as Rhodiola rosea), 175mg of Tyrosine can be very beneficial.

What We Don’t Like – Cycling & Side Effects

The only real problem with 1 Body Brain Support is the need for cycling.

You need to cycle 1 Body Brain Support.

You cannot use it for a prolonged, uninterrupted period.

Every 3-4 weeks, you need to take at least 7 days break. Longer is probably better if your priority is minimizing side effects.

The reason for this is the presence of Huperzine A.

Huperzine A is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor – the only one, to our knowledge.

Acetylcholinesterase, as you might have guessed, is the enzyme responsible for breaking down acetylcholine. With less acetylcholinesterase in the brain, less acetylcholine is removed.

Levels gradually build up, leading to higher cognitive function, more mental clarity, etc.

The problem though is that you are effectively removing the brain’s ability to self-regulate acetylcholine levels.

More is good, too much is definitely a bad thing.

If you take Alpha-GPC, then your body can get rid of excess acetylcholine if necessary.

Not so with Huperzine A, as acetylcholinesterase is the “safety valve”.

Common side effects of too much acetylcholine include:

  • Headaches
  • Confusion
  • Irritability
  • Anxiety
  • Lack of focus
  • Memory problems
  • Brain fog

So it seems that acetylcholine starts to work against you when you have too much.

How do you stop this from happening?

To avoid side effects, you need to regularly cycle Huperzine A – taking short breaks after each set period, or “cycle”.

This is a poorly understood process, but a good rule of thumb is to take at least 7 days off every 3 weeks.

That should allow your acetylcholine levels to return to normal, preventing any serious side effects from emerging.

So what’s the problem?

WE DON’T WANT TO TAKE BREAKS!

Not only do we not want to have to stop using a nootropic stack every 3 weeks (lest we get killer headaches), but breaks reduce the efficacy of other ingredients.

CYCLING MAKES THE STACK LESS EFFECTIVE AS A WHOLE.

Ingredients such as Bacopa monnieri, Lion’s Mane Mushroom, and Rhodiola rosea can have acute effects.

But to really fulfill their potential, these substances need to be taken continuously for several weeks or more.

Most sudies looking at Bacopa monnieri and cognitive decline, for example, have found that memory benefits only become apparent after 6-12 weeks of solid supplementation.

This is a serious flaw!

1 Body Brain Support Review Conclusion

If you haven’t had time to read the entire 1 Body Brain Support review then we think you should at least check out our key reservation – the need for cycling.

This is important, because aside from this, there really aren’t many drawbacks here.

The ingredients are excellent on the whole.

All bases are covered: anxiety reduction, focus enhancement, long-term memory function support, and cognitive support under conditions of acute stress.

If cycled properly, side effects should be few and far between.

Yet we can’t avoid the fact that cycling significantly reduces the efficacy of the stack as a whole.

The best ingredients here need 6-12 weeks to really ‘get going’. They do have acute effects for sure, but they are nothing compared to the long term effects.

6 weeks of solid Bacopa, Lion’s Mane and Alpha-GPC supplementation can put you on a much higher plane of functioning round the clock.

To put it simply – great, but it could be a lot better. Some sloppy formulation has really handicapped what is otherwise a powerful nootropic stack.
